Browsing Articles

The Articles page displays all 60 articles as glassmorphic cards in a responsive grid (1 column on mobile, 2 on tablet, 3 on desktop). Articles are shuffled daily so you discover fresh content each time you visit. Each card shows:

  • Featured image or generative pattern: A hero image or category-based SVG pattern at the top of the card
  • Title and excerpt: The article title (2-line clamp) and a brief preview of the lead paragraph
  • Read time: Estimated reading time (4-10 minutes per article)
  • Category chip: A color-coded badge showing which breathing space the article belongs to
  • Bookmark button: Tap the bookmark icon to save the article for later (Pro feature)

Category Filtering

A row of filter chips at the top lets you browse by category. Tap any chip to show only articles from that category. The "All" chip resets the filter to show all 60 articles. On mobile, chips wrap into 4 rows; on desktop they display in 2 rows.

Each of the 12 categories maps directly to a Breathing Space, so the articles complement the exercises you practice in that space.

Try This Exercise

Every article includes a floating "Try This Exercise" widget that bridges reading and practice. The widget appears within the article content and shows:

  • Breathing pattern name: The technique recommended for this article (e.g. Box Breathing, 4-7-8 Relaxation)
  • Pattern timing: The specific inhale-hold-exhale timing (e.g. 4-4-4-4)
  • Duration: How long the exercise takes (e.g. "4 minutes, 4 cycles")
  • Oxy: Your oxygen bubble companion appears in the widget with a breathing animation and an encouraging message
  • Start Breathing button: Launches a breathing session with the article's recommended pattern pre-loaded

Some articles feature advanced breathing templates that are available to Pro members. A Pro badge appears on the widget when the pattern requires a Pro subscription.

Bookmarks PRO

Pro members can bookmark any article for quick access later. Tap the bookmark icon on any article card or at the top of any article detail page to save it. Bookmarks are stored locally and sync across all your devices with Cloud Sync.

Free users who tap the bookmark button will see an upgrade dialog explaining the Pro benefits. Bookmarks include the article title, category, space name, and the date you saved it.

Read Tracking

Each article has a "Mark as Read" toggle at the bottom. Tapping it records the article as read with a timestamp so you can keep track of what you have and haven't read. Read status syncs to the cloud for Pro members, so your reading progress follows you across devices.

Article Feedback

At the bottom of every article, a "Was this article helpful?" prompt lets you rate the article (1-5 stars) and leave an optional comment. You need to be signed in to submit feedback. Your input helps us improve article quality and prioritize future topics.
